What Drivers Are Saying About The HD Supply Spring Nationals

2005 Spring Nationals Winner - Stevie Smith
Stevie Smith - #19 CLJ Motorsports:

"Attica has always been a really cool place to race. You ride right on the cushion for time trials and the bottom starts to open up during the heats. If all goes well, the track will slick off a bit and get very racy during the feature. It's not uncommon to see a lot of two wide racing there and we might even see some three wide racing. The type of surface they have there really puts on a good show for the fans. We look forward to heading up there and being competitive. With a little luck, we may just get a win or two."

Kasey Kahne - #5 Kasey Kahne Racing:

"I feel like Attica will be a great track [to make his 2012 debut]. I enjoy racing there; it's a cool place with a lot of good fans up there. It's two nights in a row, it's supposed to be sunny and we built a brand new car for up there. So I think we'll have a good piece and I'm looking forward to having some good racing."

David Gravel - #89G DDR Motorsports:

“Qualifying and track position are very important at a place like Attica. My car was really good at the end of the race there last time. I was able to work my way up to second as the laps wound down. It’s all about lapped traffic and the cautions and just being in the right spot. It’s tough to get a win, so you have put yourself in a position to win and run up front and the wins will come.”

2011 Spring Nationals Winner - Dale Blaney
Dale Blaney - #2 George Fisher Racing:

"It really doesn't matter [in regards to some of the drivers being named showing up this weekend]. The more the merrier. We run with the Outlaw guys quite a bit and the more we can run with them, the better we are and the faster we will be. We won an Outlaw race over there a couple years ago so I guess if we can win an Outlaw race against all those guys... I feel pretty confident. You never know what you're gonna get at Attica. Great race track. I love racing there and we always run great there."
