By Brian Liskai (Attica, OH) The wheel-banging, mud-slinging super late models of the Sunoco American Late Model Series will be showcased at Attica Raceway Park on Friday, June 22. Not only will they do battle in a complete program on Wynn's Automotive/ Service Drive Solutions Night, but the feature event from the rained out Fultz Fabrications & Speed Shop Night of May 25 will be held. Fans will get to see two big A-mains. Already in the line-up for the make-up feature are - by virtue of their top 3 finishes in the Wynn's Auto Parts heats - Jeep VanWormer, Hillard Miller, Eric Myers, Ryan Markham, Dusty Moore, Brian Ruhlman, Steve Casebolt, Aaron Scott, Ronnie Perrine Jr., Duane Chamberlain, Rusty Schlenk and Ryan Missler.
There are a pair of 10-lap B-mains to be made up from the May 25 show, where the top four finishers in each move to the 30-lap Fultz Fabrications & Speed Shop A-main. The Wynn's Automotive/ Service Drive Solutions Night format will have the ALMS late models making a one-lap qualification to determine their heat race line-ups. The June 22 show also features the 305 winged sprints and the dirt trucks. Gates will open at 5 pm with racing action slated to get underway at 8 pm at "Ohio's Finest Racing" venue. Adult general admission $14, seniors citizens $12, 11-15 $10, 10 & under free, and pits $25. For more information call (419)680-5606 or log onto atticaracewaypark.com.
