A 'roller-coaster' of a rookie year for Brad Haudenschild made visiting Engine Pro Victory Lane that much sweeter. The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title presented by Engine Pro & PAC Valve Springs season started with posting consectative top-5 finishes at Fremont Speedway and sitting inside the top-5 in series points. A wreck at Limaland Motorsports Park during the 2011 edition of Ohio Sprint Speedweek left the R&B Enterprises, R&S Lines backed #10 team with a junk chassis. The team has since regrouped with a backup car and fought to stay inside the top-10 in points and at the top of the Hot Shot Engine Heater F.A.S.T. Rookie of the Year points. Saturday's win during the F.A.S.T. make-up feature from August 6th at Fremont Speedway made the recent struggles seem a distant memory and also increased his rookie point lead over Brad Bowman to 101-points.

Haudenschild's first career 410 sprint win highlighted the night but the F.A.S.T. championship points battle contenders, Bryan Sebetto, Dean Jacobs & Byron Reed chased "B-Haud" to the line after engine troubles knocked out Cole Duncan from contention. With his eleventh top-5 of the year Dean Jacobs maintains a 15-point lead in the title chase, while Bryan Sebetto's runner-up finish helped him leap frog Reed for second place. B&S Racing's Byron Reed sits just 19-markers out of first. The trio of title contenders have finished inside the top-5 together five times giving them a larger cushion over 2009 F.A.S.T. Champion Craig Mintz in fourth place 202-markers back.

The misfortune of Phil Gressman helped Mintz move up in the F.A.S.T. Kistler Cup points after Mintz charged his Ti22 Performance, D.G.G.I., Real-Geese Decoys backed #09 from his 11th starting position to a sixth place run. Mintz sits second in career Fremont/Attica Sprint Title feature wins with 6 (3 behind Reed with 9), but has yet to visit victory lane this season. One can't count out the inaugural series champion as he remains hungry for the first win of the year. "The Ohio Gas Man" Phil Gressman sits just 8-points behind Mintz in fifth.

Mike Linder has been gaining momentum late in the season and visited victory lane at Fremont Speedway after the F.A.S.T.. make-up feature. The recent consistency of the Linder Speed Equipment, Vision Quest backed #312 has the Fremont, Ohio native just 22-markers back of third place. Rookie Haudenschild sits in 7th with Green Spring, Ohio's Kevin Lee in 8th place. Todd Heller and rookie contender Brad Bowman round out the top-10 in F.A.S.T. Kistler Cup points. Just 37-markers outside of the lucrative top-10 is the Zablocki Construction, Distel’s Septic Services backed #9Z of Duane Zablocki. Zablocki looks to start getting those top-10 finishes they are capable of to claim his first top-10 finish in F.A.S.T. Series points.

The Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. Championship Series returns to Attica Raceway Park this coming Saturday, August 20th as the headliner of four divisions of racing. Brandon Martin became the first repeat 410 sprint car winner of the year at the 1/3-mile clay oval by visiting Engine Pro Victory Lane the last visit to the track. Gates will open at 4:00 pm with racing starting at 7:00 pm at "Ohio's Finest Racing" speed plant. Visit for more information.

Championship points opportunities are becoming scarce with just three events remaining in the 2011 FAST Series season. After this weekend at Attica, the F.A.S.T. series returns to Attica on Saturday, August 27th for the $3,000 to win Mark Keegan Classic during the track's season championship night. The season wraps up with the crowning of the 2011 F.A.S.T. Champion at Fremont Speedway on Saturday, September 10th with a $3,000 to win series finale.
