On Saturday, August 25th at Attica Raceway Park during Season Championship Night presented by Kistler Engines the 50/50 raffle will pay tribute to a local Marine who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
Half of the total money collected will be presented by the Attica Fair Association to the Jeremy Shock Foundation. Shock, a 2002 Clyde High School graduate and native of Green Springs, Ohio, was killed Nov. 19, 2006, while serving in Iraq.
Shock's parents have established the foundation in memory of their son to help pay for a new lighting system at the Green Springs baseball field. His parents have indicated Jeremy enjoyed baseball and they wanted future generations to have the opportunity of playing under the lights.

Season Championship Night features heated points battles in the "Fast and Furious Four" divisions of 410 Sprints, 305 Sprints, Attica Late Models, and Dirt Trucks. Also the vintage cars will also be on hand.

Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m. Adult General Admission is $14, Seniors $12, 11-15 $10, 10 and under FREE, and pits $25. Call the track office at 419-680-5606 or visit
