Cold Wet Weather Halts Racing At Attica Raceway Park

(Attica, OH) Heavy rains early Friday morning coupled with cold temperatures brought about the cancellation of racing on Columbus Equipment Night at Attica Raceway Park.

ARP will be back in action Friday, April 26 with the Sunoco American Late Model Series, O’Reilly Auto Parts 410 Sprints and the Foster’s Auto Body 305 Sprint in action on True Value of Woodville/ Merrill Lynch Night. It will be a Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. (Fremont Attica Sprint Title) Championship Series event for the 410 sprints.

Friday Night's Races Washed Out

(Attica, OH) Heavy rains all day Thursday caused flooding around Northwest Ohio and Attica Raceway Park was no exception. Water flooded turns three and four of the track and with very little sun to help dry the facility, officials have cancelled the racing for Underground Utilities Inc./ Bazell Race Fuels Night, Friday, April 12th.

Attica Raceway Park will kick off the 2013 Kistler Racing Products FAST (Fremont/Attica Sprint Title) Championship Series for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 410 Sprints and the JLH General Contractors FAST 305 Championship Series for the Foster’s Auto Body 305 Sprints on Friday, April 19. Also in action will be the Summit Racing Equipment UMP DIRTcar Late Models.

Attica Raceway Park Moves Racing To Saturday, April 6th

(Attica, OH) Attica Raceway Park Officials have moved this week’s racing from Friday, April 5 to Saturday, April 6 due to weather conditions.  

“It’s suppose to get down to the 30s Friday night while Saturday it’s suppose to warm up to the 60s and only have a low in the 50s. We had Saturday as a scheduled rain date any way so we have moved this weekend’s show to Saturday,” said Rex LeJeune, Director of Operations at ARP.  

Gates will open Saturday at 4 p.m. with racing under way at 7 p.m. with the O’Reilly Auto Parts 410 Sprints, Summit Racing Equipment UMP Late Models and Foster Auto Body 305 Sprints in action on Fisher Performance Night.

Adult general admission is $14; seniors $12; teens ages 11-15 are $10; and kids 10 and under are free. Pit passes are $25.

We Are Ready To Go Racing On Saturday Night!

ImageThe track crew has worked around the clock since the snow started to melt earlier this week getting the track into racing shape and rolling in the surrounding grounds for parking. We can't wait to swing open the gates on Saturday to kick off our 25th Anniversary Season of racing at "Ohio's Finest Racing" speed plant!

Attica Raceway Park Adjusts Summit Racing Equipment UMP DIRTcar Late Model Weekly Purse

(Attica, OH) Attica Raceway Park has adjusted the weekly purse for the UMP Late Model division. The winner of the feature event will earn $1,000 with second paying $700 and third taking home $500.  

“We are adjusting the purse to try and keep in line with other area tracks,” said Rex LeJeune, ARP Operations Director.  

The purse will also pay $200 for ninth place and $160 to start the A-main.   For a complete purse structure go to www.atticaracewaypark.com
